My school’s website

27 Apr

My school has a website! Who knew? Here it is: http://kishou.fku.ed.jp/

This is a link to the Google translation. That may not work; in that case, just go to Google Translate and plug the school’s URL into the text box, if you’re curious.

It’s a pretty unexciting website and the Google translation is horrific. For one thing, it translates our school’s name as if it were a Chinese character, rather than Japanese (they use the same characters, with different pronunciations/meanings). So “Kishoukan Secondary School” comes out as “Secondary School Hui Xiang Hall”, lol.

Oh, and there are just a few images of the school and town on the homepage, but you have to go to the original website (not the Google translation) to see them. Enjoy!

Nice pic of the front of your school. The translation leaves a LOT to be desired — Google really has to work on that…

Glad you spotted that pic. There’s not much more to get from the website, I’m afraid. Nothing like human translation! That’s one job computers are still far from replacing.
